Bracture

Custom systems for real work.

Overview

AI agents need a DBA.

An agent's manageable surface includes its instructions, memory, data, tools and capabilities. Bracture treats that surface the way a database administrator (DBA) treats a production database.

Approach

Bracture prefers to work inside the client's environment, under the client's accounts and logging. If data must leave that environment, Bracture will agree its storage location and its return or destruction date in writing before receiving it. Acceptance criteria are set in writing before work starts. Results are checked against the system of record before handoff, and changes are documented.

Representative work

Internal platform

Bracture's agent platform

Built Bracture's shared agent platform. It keeps instructions, standards and safety checks in one place, with operational records retained for review and changes made through controlled releases.

Design principles

Deterministic first.

Anything that can be written as a rule is tested and run as code.

Progressive disclosure.

An agent starts with the least context and the fewest tools, and is given more only as the task requires.

Human judgment only where it is needed.

An agent stops for a person before it spends money, sends anything externally, changes credentials, deletes protected data or writes to an unapproved system. Routine steps proceed on their own unless the client's policy requires a review.

Describe the work, the systems or data involved, and any deadline.

Bracture uses what you send only to review the inquiry and keep a record of it. The privacy notice says where requests are stored and how calls and texts are handled.
